PRESIDENT'S COMMENTS
Thank you to all members for a great turn out at our AGM. It is not the most exciting event on our Rotary calendar but with a need to look at the way we operate to keep our club alive, attractive to new members and engaging for existing members we are well overdue for some discussion and change. The un-audited results of our Roster Duty survey are below. Perhaps the most interesting thing is we had 33 members at the AGM and only 23 responded. I’m hoping that means you trust the directors to make good decisions on your behalf.

The directors also intend to review processes around the appointment of directors and trustees in the new year. Hugh is reviewing our club rules and Charles is looking at our trust deeds. Any input from members is welcome.
But for now, we look forward to our Christmas celebration on Tuesday 10 December 2019. This is our last Club event for the year, so Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to you all.

Thank you for your contributions to the club during 2019 and bring on 2020.
